Low Fat Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 egg whites
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chunks

Recipe

  • 1 in a large bowl, combine the and brown sugar, the corn syrup and butter. mix well.
  • 2 add the egg whites, along with the vanilla extract. beat for two minutes, or until well blended.
  • 3 in another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda and salt.
  • 4 add to the sugar mixture, stirring until well combined.
  • 5 add the rolled oats and chips. stir well, mixture will be thick.
  • 6 using a tablespoon to measure, roll bough into balls, and place on greased cookies sheet. flatten slightly.
  • 7 bake for 7-8 minutes.
