Heart Cookies (sugar Cookies)

Ingredients

• 6 tablespoons butter
• 6 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
• 1 egg yolk
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 cup shifted flour

Recipe

• 1 cream the butter and sugar together thoroughly. add the egg yolk and vanilla, beat well. stir in flour. on a lightly floured surface, roll out dough 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick. cut out hearts with a cookie cutter and place on an ungreased cookie sheet. decorate with candy sugar. bake for 5-7 min at 350.
