Jam Drops

Ingredients
- 125 g butter
- 3/4 cup caster sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda (baking soda)
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 2 cups plain flour (all-purpose flour)
- jam (jelly)
Recipe
- 1 cream butter and sugar.
- 2 add eggs and beat well.
- 3 add sifted dry ingredients and mix well. (the dough will be quite sticky).
- 4 place teaspoonfuls approx 4cm apart onto a baking sheet either greased or lined with baking paper.
- 5 make an indentation in the top of each biscuit (i use 2 teaspoons to "dig" a little hole) and fill with your choice of jam.
- 6 bake at 180deg c for 15 mins or until lightly golden.
- 7 cool on wire rack and enjoy!
