One-pan Fruit Brownies

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 6 tablespoons baking cocoa
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted and cooled
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup raisins (or tart cherries or cranberries)

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2 place flour, sugar and cocoa in an ungreased 8 x 8-inch baking pan. stir with a fork until thoroughly combined; set aside.
  • 3 in a small bowl, blend butter and eggs well. pour butter mixture into flour mixture. stir with a fork, scraping corners and sides until wet and dry ingredients are completely combined.
  • 4 stir in dried fruit.
  • 5 bake for 25 minutes or until center feels set when lightly touched. cool and cut into squares.
