Plain Cookies

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup soft butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup rolled oats (not instant 5 - 20 minutes type.)
  • 1 cup kellogs rice krispies
  • 1/2 cup desiccated coconut
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries or 1/2 cup dried cherries

Recipe

  • 1 cream butter and sugars well.
  • 2 add egg and vanilla.
  • 3 beat well.
  • 4 add flour, salt, powder, soda, mix well.
  • 5 add coconut, oats, cranberries, and krispies, and chipits.
  • 6 combine everthing by hand thouroughly.
  • 7 roll in to round balls.
  • 8 flatten with a fork.
  • 9 place on parchment lined baking sheets.
  • 10 bake 325 degrees f.
  • 11 for 15 minutes.
