Passover Macaroons

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 72
  • 6 egg whites
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 lb almond paste
  • 1/4 cup matzo meal
  • 1 1/3 cups unsweetened coconut

Recipe

  • 1 beat the egg whites until peaks begin to form, beat in the sugar and fold in the almond paste, matzo meal and coconut.
  • 2 drop by the teaspoon onto a greased baking pan and flatten slightly with a wet knife.
  • 3 bake in a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes or until delicately browned.
