Pecan Pie Bars (cookie Mix)

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 36
  • 1 (17 1/2 ounce) envelope betty crocker sugar cookie mix
  • 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons gold medal all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven to 350°f
  • 2 spray bottom of 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray.
  • 3 in large bowl, stir all crust ingredients until soft dough forms.
  • 4 press dough in bottom of pan using floured fingers.
  • 5 bake 20 minutes.
  • 6 meanwhile, in medium bowl, stir all pecan filling ingredients until well blended.
  • 7 pour over hot crust.
  • 8 bake 15 minutes or until center is set.
  • 9 cool completely, about 2 hours.
  • 10 for bars, cut into 9 rows by 4 rows.
