Ingredients

- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
- 3/4 cup soy flour
- 1 cup oatmeal
- 1/2 cup ground flax seeds
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup margarine or 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/4 cup olive oil, plus
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Recipe
- 1 mix first 7 ingredients.
- 2 then add butter and sugar, mixing until fluffy.
- 3 add eggs and vanilla, mix.
- 4 then chips and nuts, stir until well mixed.
- 5 drop by tablespoon to ungreased baking sheet,~2 inches apart.
- 6 bake 350 degrees for~12 minutes.
- 7 (don't overcook, will be too crumbly).
- 8 note: i have adopted the use of whole wheat flour and olive oil to this recipe, should you choose not to-- use 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour and 1 1/2 sticks margarine instead.
