Mom's Outrageous Brownies

Ingredients

• 1 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup butter, melted
• 1 cup flour
• 4 eggs, well beaten
• 16 ounces chocolate syrup
• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 6 tablespoons butter
• 6 tablespoons milk
• 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Recipe

• 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
• 2 combine the first 5 ingredients and pour into a well-greased 9x13" pan.
• 3 bake 35 min or till set.
• 4 allow to cool before icing.
• 5 for icing: combine the sugar, butter and milk in a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently so as not to scorch.
• 6 boil for one minute.
• 7 add the chocolate chips and stir to melt.
• 8 beat the icing with a spoon about 2 minutes, until fudgy thick.
• 9 ice the brownies.
