Grandma Carol's Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter
• 1 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 2 tablespoons water
• 3 cups sifted flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe

• 1 cream the butter, and sugars in mixer until smooth. add the eggs,soda water, vanilla, salt andmix well. add flour 1/2 cup at a time into the mixture, continue until well mixed.
• 2 cover and chill for about two hours if you have time. it will roll out better for cutting the cookies if you do. with this dough however, you don't have to if you do not have the time.
• 3 roll out your dough, cut your cookies out and bake them for 6 minutes at 375 degrees.
