Oatmeal Macaroons

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 48
  • 1 egg, separated
  • 1/2 cup splenda granular
  • 1 tablespoon smart balance light butter spread, melted
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Recipe

  • 1 beat egg yolk and separately.
  • 2 cream sugar with melted shortening.
  • 3 add egg yolk, syrup, salt and oats.
  • 4 then add baking powder, egg , and vanilla.
  • 5 mix thoroughly, drop on greased pan (about half teaspoon each).
  • 6 allow space for spreading.
  • 7 bake 8 to 10 minutes in 350f oven (moderate oven).
  • 8 cool for 2 minutes before removing from pan.
