Ice Box Cookies

Ingredients

• 2 cups flour
• 1/2 cup powdered sugar
• 1 cup butter (chilled)
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• colored crystal sugar (red and green)

Recipe

• 1 mix all ingredients (except colored sugar crystals) together. form into a ball, wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for one hour.
• 2 on wax paper, roll dough into two logs about 2 inches in width. roll in red and green crystals and chill overnight (or a few hours) in wax paper.
• 3 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
• 4 slice into thin slices and bake for 10 to 12 minutes (do not brown).
