Pecan Pie Bars

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 (6 ounce) package toffee pieces
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Recipe
- 1 in a mixing bowl, combine flour and sugar.
- 2 cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse meal.
- 3 press firmly into a greased 13 inch x 9 inch x 2 inch baking dish.
- 4 bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
- 5 meanwhile, in another bowl, beat milk, egg, vanilla and salt.
- 6 stir in toffee chips and pecans, spread evenly over baked crust.
- 7 bake for another 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
- 8 cool. refrigerate until thoroughly chilled, cut into bars.
- 9 keep chilled until ready to serve.
