Macadamia And Chocolate Biccies

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 200 g butter, softened
  • 1 cup caster sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 100 g chopped chocolate
  • 1/2 cup chopped macadamia nuts

Recipe

  • 1 cream butter and caster sugar until light and fluffy.
  • 2 add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • 3 mix in vanilla.
  • 4 sift flour and baking powder, stir into creamed mixture along with chocolate and nuts.
  • 5 take heaped teaspoons of mixture and roll into balls.
  • 6 place on greased oven tray, allowing room for spreading.
  • 7 flatten slightly with a floured fork.
  • 8 bake at 180c degrees for approx 15 minutes until golden.
  • 9 cool on wire racks.
