Nana’s Sour Cream Cookies

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup crisco
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 3/4 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Recipe
- 1 in an electric mixer bowl combine crisco, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. beat until light and fluffy.
- 2 stir in 1 cup sour cream.
- 3 in another bowl, combine dry ingredients and gradually add to the sour cream mixture.
- 4 chill at least 1 hour (3 - 4 hours is better).
- 5 drop by heaping teaspoons onto a greased cookie sheet.
- 6 bake at 425°f for 8 to 10 minutes--edges should just barley be turning light brown.
