Oatmeal Scotchies

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 cups quick-cooking oats
  • 1 (11 ounce) package butterscotch chips

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • 2 combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon in a small bowl. set aside.
  • 3 beat butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla in large mixing bowl, gradually beat in the flour mixture. stir in oats and butterscotch chips.
  • 4 drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  • 5 bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes. cool on baking sheets 2 minutes, remove to wire rack to cool completely.
