- 1 preheat oven to 325 degrees f.
- 2 butter a 7 by 11 1/2 by 2-inch baking pan.
- 3 line with parchment paper; set aside.

- 1 line a 25cm x 20cm (10in x 8in) shallow baking tin with clingfilm.
- 2 melt toffee and butter in a medium sized pan, heat over a very gentle heat and stir continuously.
- 3 once completely melted and resmbling a thick liqud remove from the heat.
