Peanut Butter Gingerbread Cookies

Total Time: 27 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 12 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 2/3 cups reese's peanut butter chips
  • 3/4 cup butter or 3/4 cup margarine, softened
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 cup dark corn syrup
  • 2 eggs
  • 5 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven to 325f.
  • 2 on lightly floured surface, roll 1 dough portion at a time to 1/8-inch thickness; with floured cookie cutters, cut into holiday shapes. place on ungreased cookie sheet.
  • 3 bake 10 to 12 minutes or until set and lightly browned. cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. cool completely. frost and decorate as desired.
  • 4 (this recipe makes about 6 dozen cookies).

Peanut Butter Fudgy Bars

Ingredients

  • Servings: 20
  • 1 (18 1/4 ounce) butter recipe cake mix
  • 1 cup crunchy peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 egg
  • 1 (16 ounce) can chocolate fudge frosting
  • 1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
  • 1 cup candy covered plain chocolate candies (m&ms)
  • 1/2 cup chopped peanuts

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven to 350 degrees f.
  • 2 lightly spray 13x9 pan withno stick cooking spray.
  • 3 combine cake mix, 1 cup peanut butter, water and egg on low speed.
  • 4 spread in pan.
  • 5 bake 20 to 25 minutes or until puffed and light golden brown.
  • 6 cool completely.
  • 7 blend frosting with 1/2 cup peanut butter and spread over cooled bars.
  • 8 top with candy and nuts.

Easy Bake Oven Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 teaspoons sugar

Recipe

  • 1 in a bowl, mix together all ingredients to make a dough.
  • 2 with your fingers roll into 1/2 inch balls.
  • 3 place 4 balls into the easy bake oven pan and press down slightly with the tines of a fork.
  • 4 bake for 6 minutes.
  • 5 cool.
  • 6 bake remaining balls 4 at a time.

Orange Hazelnut Thumbprints

Ingredients

  • 225 g flour
  • 75 g sugar
  • 50 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 1 orange, zest only (please use an organic orange for this)
  • 100 g butter, softened
  • 1 tablespoon applesauce (unsweetened)
  • 16 teaspoons jam (i used forest fruit, but orange or apricot would be great, too)

Recipe

  • 1 in a big bowl combine flour and sugar. add hazelnuts and orange zest.
  • 2 add buter and cut it in using your fingers until mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
  • 3 add applesauce and knead into a smooth dough (it should be well workable).
  • 4 take walnut sized portions of the dough and roll them into balls. make an indentation into each ball using either your finger or a spoon handle.
  • 5 fill each indentation with about 1/2 ts of jam.
  • 6 bake cookies on a paper-lined baking sheet in the preheated oven at 180°c/350°f for about 12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
  • 7 cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Quick Mix Fudge Brownies

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine
  • 2 cups bisquick
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350.
  • 2 in a large saucepan, over low heat, melt 1 cup of the chocolate chips with the butter; remove from heat.
  • 3 add the condensed milk, egg and vanilla; stir well.
  • 4 stir in bisquick and then add remaining 1 cup of chocolate chips.
  • 5 spread mixture into sprayed 11 x 7 baking dish. bake 25 minutes.
  • 6 cool. cut into bars.

Peanut Butter Granola Bars

Ingredients

  • Servings: 24
  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup natural bran
  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut
  • 1 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup chopped almonds
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup wheat germ
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon milk, 2%
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda

Recipe

  • 1 mix together rolled pats, bran, unsweetened coconut, chopped almonds, raisins, and wheat germ. set aside.
  • 2 combine together molasses, vegetable oil, brown sugar and peanut butter in a 2 litre saucepan and cook over medium-low heat until dissolved. stir constantly.
  • 3 combine the milk, vanilla and baking soda, and add to the molasses mixture. stir for one more minute. remove from heat. pour molasses/milk mixture over granola mixture and stir untl dry ingredients are moist. wet your hands, and press the mixture into a 15x10 inch pan.
  • 4 bake at 275f for 20-25 minutes. let cool, cut into slices and store in the refrigerator. for best results, use fancy molasses, "lite molasses" is not recommended.

Peanut Butter Knockouts

Total Time: 13 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 8 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 package duncan hines peanut butter cookie dough
  • 1 whole egg
  • 1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 dash salt (optional)
  • 1/2 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips (optional)
  • 2 teaspoons shortening

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375.
  • 2 combine cookie mix, contents of peanut butter packet from mix and whole egg in large bowl.
  • 3 stir until thoroughly bleded.
  • 4 shape dough into 36 (about 1 inch) balls.
  • 5 place 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  • 6 press thumb gently in center of each cookie.
  • 7 combine cream cheese, peanut butter, egg yolk sugar and salt in medium bowl.
  • 8 beat at medium speed with electric mixer until blended.
  • 9 stir in mini choc.
  • 10 chips, if desired.
  • 11 fill center of each cookie with rounded teaspoonful of filling.
  • 12 bake 8-10 minutes or until light golden brown.
  • 13 cool 2 minutes on cookie sheets.
  • 14 remove to cooling racks.
  • 15 cool completely.
  • 16 place chocolate chips and shortening in small resealable plastic bag; seal, place bag in bowl of hot water for several minutes.
  • 17 dry bag with towel, kneed bag until contents are blended and chocolate is smooth.
  • 18 snip a tiny hole in corner of bag.
  • 19 (i just stick a toothpick and make a little hole) drizzle contents over cookies.
  • 20 allow drizzle to set before storing cookies between layers of waxed paper--ps.
  • 21 i usually just microwave the choc.
  • 22 and save some time and drizzle over cookies.
