Peanut Butter Fingers

Total Time: 37 mins Preparation Time: 12 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 36
  • 1 cup margarine or 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups rolled oats

Recipe

  • 1 cream margarine (or butter), sugars, and peanut butter.
  • 2 add eggs and mix til light and fluffy.
  • 3 add flour, baking soda and salt, mix well.
  • 4 add vanilla and oats, mix well.
  • 5 spread into a greased jelly roll sheet pan (10 1/2 by 15 1/2).
  • 6 bake for 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees.
  • 7 frost with 1/2 c peanut butter and 1 c powdered sugar, 2 tbls margarine and enough milk to make light and fluffy.
  • 8 cut while warm.
  • 9 do not overbake.
