Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies

Ingredients

• 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
• 1/2 cup shortening
• 1/3 cup sugar
• 1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
• 1 egg
• 2 tablespoons milk
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 1/2 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 8 ounces hershey chocolate kisses

Recipe

• 1 in the large bowl, combine peanut butter and shortening and beat until well-blended.
• 2 add sugars and beat until light and fluffy.
• 3 add egg, milk and vanilla, mix well.
• 4 in separate bowl, stir together flour, soda and salt; gradually add to peanut butter mix.
• 5 shape batter into 1 inch balls, roll in sugar.
• 6 place on cookie sheet and bake 8-10 minutes.
• 7 immediately after baking, place hershey's kiss in the center.
