Macadamia Chip Brownies

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 18
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 4 chocolate baking squares (1 ounce each)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped macadamia nuts
  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 325°f.
  • 2 in a saucepan, melt butter and chocolate over low heat; stir until smooth.
  • 3 remove from the heat. cool slightly
  • 4 in a large bowl, beat eggs and sugar.
  • 5 add chocolate mixture and vanilla.
  • 6 combine flour and salt; gradually add to chocolate mixture.
  • 7 stir in nuts and chocolate chips.
  • 8 pour into a greased 9-in. square baking pan.
  • 9 bake for 30-35 minutes or until top is lightly browned.
  • 10 cool on a wire rack.
  • 11 cut into bars.
