Heath Bars

Ingredients
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup margarine or 1/2 cup butter
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup heath candy bar, chopped
Recipe
- 1 mix sugar, flour, baking soda, salt and margarine with pastry blender.
- 2 set aside one cup of mixture.
- 3 to the larger portion, add egg, milk and vanilla.
- 4 mix thoroughly and pour into a greased and floured 9x13-inch pan.
- 5 to the remaining one cup of mixture, add the chopped heath bars.
- 6 sprinkle evenly over top of pan.
- 7 bake at 350ºf for 25 to 30 minutes.
- 8 remove to rack and cool.
