Pecan Crispies

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup shortening
• 1/2 cup butter
• 2 1/2 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
• 2 eggs, beaten
• 2 1/2 cups flour
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 cup pecans, chopped

Recipe

• 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees f.
• 2 grease a cookie sheet.
• 3 in a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
• 4 in a large bowl, cream shortening and butter, add sugar; cream well.
• 5 add eggs; beat well.
• 6 add flour mixture; mix well.
• 7 fold in pecans.
• 8 drop by teaspoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheet.
• 9 bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
