Mama Jan's Super Yummy Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup butter, softened
• 2 small egg yolks (i use 1 large egg yolk) or 1 medium egg (i use 1 large egg yolk)
• 1 cup sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 2 cups flour, sifted
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/2 teaspoon almond extract

Recipe

• 1 cream together the butter and sugar.
• 2 add egg and mix well.
• 3 sift dry ingredients together and blend into sugar mixture. mix well.
• 4 add extracts and blend well.
• 5 chill one hour.
• 6 roll out to thickness of half your little finger and cut with cookie cutters.
• 7 bake at 400f for 8-10 until edges are golden.
