Ginger And Cinnamon Spice Cookies (spritz/cookie Press Style)

Ingredients
- 230 g butter, at room temperature
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, measure firmly packed
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/2 cups flour, sifted (plain all-purpose flour)
- 1 tablespoon water
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 170°c
- 2 beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- 3 add egg, spices, salt and water- mix well.
- 4 gentley mix in the flour with a spoon.
- 5 pack dough into cookie press- as per instructions for your press.
- 6 press onto cookie trays- spacing about 2 cm apart.
- 7 bake 12-15 minutes, or until firm to touch.
- 8 gentley transfer to a wire rack to cool.
- 9 decorate as desired or eat plain.
- 10 store in an airtight container.
