Grandma Larson's Snickerdoodles

Ingredients
- 1 cup crisco shortening
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 3/4 cups flour
- 1/8 cup sugar, for cookie coating
- 1/4 cup cinnamon, for cookie coating
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- 2 mix sugar, eggs, shortening, salt until creamy.
- 3 add baking soda, cream of tarter and slowly mix flour in until it is a nice dough.
- 4 mix cinnamon and sugar cookie coating in a shallow wide bowl, you can add sugar or cinnamon according to taste.
- 5 roll cookie dough into small balls.
- 6 roll balls of cookie dough in the cookie coating until completely covered.
- 7 place on greased cookie sheet.
- 8 bake for about 8-10 minutes.
