Grandma Larson's Snickerdoodles

Ingredients

• 1 cup crisco shortening
• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 2 large eggs
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 2 3/4 cups flour
• 1/8 cup sugar, for cookie coating
• 1/4 cup cinnamon, for cookie coating

Recipe

• 1 preheat oven to 400 degrees.
• 2 mix sugar, eggs, shortening, salt until creamy.
• 3 add baking soda, cream of tarter and slowly mix flour in until it is a nice dough.
• 4 mix cinnamon and sugar cookie coating in a shallow wide bowl, you can add sugar or cinnamon according to taste.
• 5 roll cookie dough into small balls.
• 6 roll balls of cookie dough in the cookie coating until completely covered.
• 7 place on greased cookie sheet.
• 8 bake for about 8-10 minutes.
