Honey Spice Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 1/3 cups honey
- 1 cup dark brown sugar, packed
- 1 cup butter
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cloves
- 1 egg
- 6 cups unsifted flour
- 2 egg whites
- 2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
Recipe
- 1 day one:.
- 2 in large saucepan, combine honey, brown sugar and butter.
- 3 cook over medium heat, stirring often, until butter is melted and mixture comes to a boil.
- 4 pour into large bowl to cool, stirring occasionally (cool 1 hour).
- 5 with wooden spoon, stir in cinnamon, baking soda, cloves and egg.
- 6 gradually stir in flour until well combined. (dough will be stiff).
- 7 refrigerate overnight, as long as a week.
