Jumbo Double Chocolate Cranberry Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 3/4 cups flour
• 1/3 cup baking cocoa
• 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup butter, softened
• 1 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
• 1 egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 cups semisweet chocolate chunks
• 3/4 cup dried cranberries or 3/4 cup dried cherries
• additional sugar

Recipe

• 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
• 2 combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt in small bowl, set a side.
• 3 beat butter, sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy. beat in egg and vanilla. gradually beat in flour mixture. stir in chocolate chunks and cranberries.
• 4 drop dough by 1/4 cupfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets, 3 inches apart.
• 5 flatten dough with bottom of glass dipped in sugar.
• 6 bake 11-12 minutes.
