Leave It To Beaver's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup shortening
• 1 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
• 2 large eggs, beaten
• 2 teaspoons vanilla
• 1 (6 ounce) package chocolate chips
• 2 1/2 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon baking soda

Recipe

• 1 preheat oven to 375°f.
• 2 mix shortening, sugars, eggs and vanilla thoroughly.
• 3 blend dry ingredients.
• 4 add the dry ingredients into the shortening mixture.
• 5 mix in chocolate chips.
• 6 drop by rounded teaspoons on an ungreased cookie sheet.
• 7 bake about 10 minutes or until pale golden.
