Lila's Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup butter
• 1/2 cup powdered sugar
• 1/2 cup crisco
• 2 1/4 cups flour
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
• 1 egg, beaten
• 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

Recipe

• 1 cream the sugar, butter, powdered sugar, and crisco. add in egg and vanilla.
• 2 add in flour, baking soda, and cream tartar.
• 3 roll into balls. place on pan and press with glass coated with sugar.
• 4 bake 350 to 375 for 10 minutes.
