Ingredients
- 1 cup dark corn syrup
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees farenheit. grease and flour 3 large baking sheets. in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stir corn syrup and butter until butter melts. remove from heat. stir in brown sugar and milk; set aside for 10 minutes.
- 2 in a large bowl, combine ots, flour, baking powder and ginger. stir in syrup mixture. drop dough by rounded teaspoons, 2 inches apart, on prepared baking sheets.
- 3 bake 9 to 13 minutes, or until deep golden brown. cool on racks. store in airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week or freeze for longer storage.
