Peanut Butter-chocolate Brownie Pie

Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1/2 cup baking cocoa
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/4 vanilla extract, divided
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 (11 ounce) package nestle' peanut butter and milk chocolate chips, divided
  • 1 chocolate crumb crust
  • 2/3 cup whipping cream
  • vanilla ice cream or chocolate ice cream

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350.
  • 2 combine cocoa, flour and salt in a small bowl.
  • 3 reserve.
  • 4 beat eggs and 1 tsp vanilla in mixing bowl.
  • 5 blend in sugar and margarine.
  • 6 add cocoa mix.
  • 7 blend well.
  • 8 stir in 3/4 cup chips.
  • 9 place crust on baking sheet,pour batter into crust.
  • 10 bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
  • 11 cool pie on wire rack.
  • 12 combine cream, remaining vanilla and chips in a microwave safe bowl.
  • 13 microwave on high for 1 1/2 minutes.
  • 14 stir.
  • 15 continue to microwave at 10-20 second intervales, stirring until smooth.
  • 16 cut pie into wedges, top with ice cream and spoon sauce over.
