Pineapple Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup shortening
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup pineapple, crushed, with juice
• 4 cups flour
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup nuts, chopped
• 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe

• 1 cream together the shortening & sugars.
• 2 beat in eggs & vanilla until creamy.
• 3 stir in pineapple.
• 4 combine the flour, salt & soda & add to creamed mixture.
• 5 stir in chips & nuts.
• 6 bake on sprayed sheets at 400 for about 10 minutes.
