Mini Chip Butter Crisps

Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/4 cups butter, softened (no substitutions)
- 1 cup icing sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups mini chocolate chips
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- 2 in a medium bowl, combine flour and salt.
- 3 in a large mixing bowl, cream butter until light and fluffy.
- 4 gradually beat in sugar and vanilla.
- 5 gradually add the dry ingredients and blend until smooth.
- 6 stir in chocolate chips.
- 7 shape dough into 1 inch balls.
- 8 place 12 at a time, on an ungreased baking sheet.
- 9 flatten out to circles about 2 inches in diameter with the bottom of a glass dipped in flour.
- 10 bake 10 minutes, or until desired crispness.
- 11 remove from baking sheets, let cool on wire racks.
