Mint-cream Cheese Brownies

Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 4 egg whites, lightly beaten
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 6 ounces fat free cream cheese
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
Recipe
- 1 combine first 4 ingredients in a large mixing bowl; stir well.
- 2 combine 4 egg whites and next 3 ingredients in a small bowl; add to dry ingredients, stirring well.
- 3 spread batter in an 8-inch square pan coated with cooking spray.
- 4 combine cream cheese and remaining ingredients in a medium bowl.
- 5 beat at low speed of an electric mixer until smooth.
- 6 spoon cream cheese mixture by tablespoonfuls over cocoa mixture.
- 7 cut through cream cheese and cocoa mixtures with a knife to create a marbled effect.
- 8 bake at 350°f for 22 minutes.
- 9 let cool in pan.
- 10 cut into bars.
