Red Hot Valentine Cookies

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup butter, softened
• 1 egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 1 1/2 cups flour
• 1/2 cup red-hot candies
• 2 -3 drops red food coloring (optional)

Recipe

• 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
• 2 mix butter, egg, vanilla, food coloring, baking powder, salt and sugar until combined. add flour and red hots. mix together. form into 1 inch balls and place on baking sheet. bake for 10-12 minutes. enjoy!
