Merry Mincemeats

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 1/2 cups mincemeat
  • 1/3 cup blanched almond

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350.
  • 2 cream butter and sugar.
  • 3 blend in egg and almond extract.
  • 4 stir in dry.
  • 5 roll half of the dough on silpat to 8x10.
  • 6 spread mincemeat on top of it.
  • 7 roll 2nd half of dough between wax paper. place on top of mincemeat.
  • 8 lightly beat egg and brush on top.
  • 9 spread almonds over top.
  • 10 bake until golden.
  • 11 cool.
  • 12 cut diagonally to make nice diamonds.
  • 13 enjoy.
