Italian Almond Cookies Ii

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 72
  • 2 lbs almond paste
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 8 egg whites
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 2 cups sliced almonds

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350f (175 degrees c).
  • 2 grease cookie sheets.
  • 3 in a large bowl, use your hands to mix together the almond paste, flour, egg whites, sugar and confectioners' sugar until well blended.
  • 4 the mixture will be very sticky.
  • 5 place the sliced almonds into a small bowl.
  • 6 scoop out rounded teaspoonfuls of the dough and drop them into the almonds.
