Pistachio Bars

Ingredients
- Servings: 32
- 1 1/2 cups butter, softened (3 sticks)
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup pistachio nut, chopped
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 325 degrees f.
- 2 in a mixer at medium speed, beat butter and 3/4 cup sugar until fluffy.
- 3 at low speed gradually beat in flour.
- 4 press evenly in bottom of ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
- 5 sprinkle with pistachio nuts. press lightly into dough.
- 6 sprinkle with 1 tablespoon sugar.
- 7 bake 45 - 60 minutes (mine only needed 45) until golden.
- 8 cut into bars while still hot.
- 9 cool pan on wire rack.
