Merry Christmas Cookies

Ingredients

• 1/3 cup shortening
• 1/3 cup brown sugar
• 1 egg
• 2/3 cup honey
• 2 3/4 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 2 teaspoons cinnamon
• 1 teaspoon ground ginger

Recipe

• 1 mix together thoroughly shortening brown sugar egg and honey.
• 2 stir in flour and spices.
• 3 chill dough for 30 min.
• 4 roll out 1/4 inch thick cut into desired shapes.
• 5 place 1 inch apart on lightly greased baking sheet.
• 6 bake at 375 for 8 to 10 minutes.
• 7 cool, frost or decorate as desired.
