Mock Giant Oreos

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup butter
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 cups flour
• 1/2 cup cocoa powder
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup milk
• 3/4 cup butter
• 2 cups powdered sugar
• 1/2 cup marshmallow cream (more if desired)
• 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

Recipe

• 1 preheat oven to 375°f.
• 2 cream 1/2 cup butter and 1 cup sugar til fluffy.
• 3 add 1 tsp vanilla.
• 4 beat in egg.
• 5 sift together dry ingredients.
• 6 add dry ingredients alternately with milk, beating well after each addition.
• 7 drop by well rounded tablespoon onto cookie sheet 2 inches apart.
• 8 bake about 8 minutes.
• 9 cool or racks.
• 10 for filling mix all ingredients together until smooth.
• 11 spread on flat side of cookie and top with another cookie.
