Peanut-butter Christmas Cookies

Ingredients

• Servings: 72
• 1 cup shortening or 1 cup crisco
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 cup peanut butter
• 3 cups sifted enriched flour
• 2 teaspoons baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt

Recipe

• 1 preheat oven to 375.
• 2 cream together shortening, sugars, eggs, and vanilla until light and fluffy.
• 3 stir in peanut butter.
• 4 sift together dry ingredients and stir into creamed mixture.
• 5 form into small balls.
• 6 place about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet *cookies will get much bigger*.
• 7 press down with back of fork to make criss-cross *optional*.
• 8 bake 10-15 minute.
