Pecan Chocolate Chip Rice Crispy Squares

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 35 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 cup granulated artificial sweetener (i used xylitol)
  • 1 cup brown rice syrup
  • 1/2 cup smooth cashew butter (or other nut butter)
  • 1/2 cup rapunzel organic chocolate hazelnut butter
  • 6 cups brown crispy rice cereal
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Recipe

  • 1 in a medium saucepan over medium heat mix the xylitol and brown rice syrup together.
  • 2 heat until hot and bubbly. remove from heat and add the nut butter and chocolate hazelnut butter mixing well.
  • 3 in a large bowl add the rice crispy cereal, nuts and chocolate chips. mix well.
  • 4 press into a 9x13 inch dish. let cool for one hour before cutting.
