Malted Milk Ball (whoppers) Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup malt drink powder
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 1/4 cups chocolate covered malted milk balls, chopped (whoppers)
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350°f (180°c).
- 2 in a bowl, mix together the flour, salt and baking soda.
- 3 in a separate bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, sugar and malt powder until light and fluffy.
- 4 add eggs and vanilla and mix well.
- 5 gradually mix in the flour mixture and mix until just combined.
- 6 stir in the chopped candy.
- 7 chill in refrigerator 1 hour.
- 8 drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- 9 bake for 9-10 minutes - the tops won't look completely set.
- 10 let stand on the cookie sheet for 2 minutes then remove to wire rack to completely cool.
