Little Peanut Butter Cup Treats

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 42 reese's miniature peanut butter cups
Recipe
- 1 combine butter, sugars, egg, peanut butter and vanilla in mixing bowl; beat until smooth.
- 2 in separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt; add to creamed mixture.
- 3 cover dough and chill.
- 4 when cold enough to handle easily,roll in small (walnut-sized) balls, place each ball in greased miniature muffin tins.
- 5 bake at 375 degrees for 8-9 minutes.
- 6 remove from oven, gently press 1 peanut butter cup into each cookie to make depression. (i placed the candies in the freezer to make them easier to handle when placing in the cookie.).
- 7 cool in pan 10 minutes; remove from pan and cool on rack.
- 8 store in cool place until serving time.
