Little Peanut Butter Cup Treats

Total Time: 1 hr 9 mins Preparation Time: 1 hr Cook Time: 9 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 42 reese's miniature peanut butter cups

Recipe

  • 1 combine butter, sugars, egg, peanut butter and vanilla in mixing bowl; beat until smooth.
  • 2 in separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt; add to creamed mixture.
  • 3 cover dough and chill.
  • 4 when cold enough to handle easily,roll in small (walnut-sized) balls, place each ball in greased miniature muffin tins.
  • 5 bake at 375 degrees for 8-9 minutes.
  • 6 remove from oven, gently press 1 peanut butter cup into each cookie to make depression. (i placed the candies in the freezer to make them easier to handle when placing in the cookie.).
  • 7 cool in pan 10 minutes; remove from pan and cool on rack.
  • 8 store in cool place until serving time.
