Gingersnaps

Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups shortening
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup molasses
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 2 eggs
- 4 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 5 -5 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon clove
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 1 teaspoon ginger
Recipe
- 1 mix first six ingredients.
- 2 add dry ingredients.
- 3 let chill for 1 hour.
- 4 take 1 tbsp dough (i like to make them big!) , roll into a ball and roll in granulated sugar.
- 5 bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. remember all stove temps are different.
