Filbertines

Total Time: 1 hr 45 mins Preparation Time: 1 hr 30 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unblanched hazelnuts
  • 1 1/3 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe

  • 1 toasting the hazelnuts:.
  • 2 preheat the oven to 350°f.
  • 3 place hazelnuts on a cookie sheet in heated oven about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
