Fantastic Gingersnaps

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 60
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon ginger
  • 4 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups shortening
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Recipe

  • 1 mix dry ingredients.
  • 2 mix shortening and sugar.
  • 3 add beaten eggs and molasses.
  • 4 combine with dry ingredients.
  • 5 roll in one inch balls.
  • 6 roll in sugar.
  • 7 place on greased cookie sheets about an inch apart.
  • 8 bake 375f 10 minutes.
  • 9 keep in tightly covered container for a soft cookie.
