Macadamia Nut Brownies

Ingredients
- 1 cup sweet unsalted butter
- 6 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup macadamia nuts, baking pieces or 1 cup crushed macadamia nuts
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350. grease and flour a 9x7 pan.
- 2 in a small bowl combine flour, salt and baking soda, set aside.
- 3 on a low heat setting melt butter completely, then add cocoa. when combined and has a smooth texture remove from heat.
- 4 in a large bowl combine sugar, eggs and vanilla, then add the cocoa and butter mixture. mix until smooth.
- 5 sift the flour, salt and baking soda slowly into the batter, beat until smooth.
- 6 add macadamia nuts if desired.
- 7 pour into pan and bake immediately.
- 8 bake for 40-50 minutes or until a toothpick stuck in the center comes out clean.
