Ingredients
- 3/4 lb butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups flour, sifted
- 1 tablespoon poppy seed
Recipe
- 1 mix butter, sugar, and flour throughly and press into a 9x13-inch pan 1/2-inch thick.
- 2 sprinkle with poppy seeds.
- 3 bake in a slow oven (250-275°f) until light brown, about an hour.
- 4 cut, while still warm, into small bars.
